Over 60 passionate golfers were treated to a night of fun and entertainment during the Dubai Airshow Golf Tournament, sponsored by Airlink, the show's official freight forwarder. In what proved to be a highly competitive field, a number of players recorded good scores, pars and the occasional birdie.
Competitors teed off at a 6PM under floodlights at Dubai's famous Emirates Golf Club. The tournament was played under the Stableford system with both front and back nine courses being used. Teams were drawn on the basis of their individual handicaps, with the low handicappers playing the back nine the more generously handicapped players playing the front.
